This idea came to me when I was away from the computer.

It seems like a lot of people are looking for a fast way to make money online.

I agree with what the experts have said and that is that making money online will take some time! You have to build up a reputation and that takes time!

Still there are a lot of people that want to make money online fast and I mean REAL fast! So here is the idea that I came up with and you may not like it.

One way to make fast money online is simply to sell something. And this will not be easy as it sounds.

In theory you sell a product or service. People see what you have to sell and then they buy it. BUT there are some things that you have to take into account.

First of all what is it that you are going to sell. Logic would dictate that if you sell a product or service that is popular - something that people want to buy - then you will make more money by selling it.

Of course you have to find out what it is that is popular and that is going to take some research on your part! That is going to take time.

Secondly how will the people know about your product or service that you have to sell? Well you have to tell them. You do that by having a website or even a blog. There are also some sites that have already been created where you can sell online - places like Ebay for instance. Once you have done that you will have to get people to look at what your selling and that means that you will have to drive traffic to the site where you are selling something. The more people that visit your site the more likely you will get some customers.

Next, how are you going to get paid? The most simplest solution would be to have a Paypal account where people would click on your Paypal button and you would get paid for your product or service. But bear in mind that in order to get a Paypal account you have to meet their requirements.

I'm sorry that this may seem to be getting a little bit complicated but I just don't believe that it is as simple to be able to make money online fast. Of course there have been exceptions where people have made a lot of money online in a small amount of time. This just doesn't work for everyone.

The only way that you are going to know this for sure is to try it out yourself. If you have a product or service that you can sell online then start a website and see how it goes.

The next thing to do is to put up a website or blog telling everyone about your business! But don't forget to do offline things as well - like creating a flyer telling about your business.

You can design logos and graphics using the most simplest of software! I have Microsoft Paint program that had already came with my computer and I could even use that to create logos and graphics! Most computers should come with the Microsoft Word program and that has even more options to help you create logos and graphics as well! There are lots of free software programs available online that can help you create and design graphics and logos as well!

There have been quite a few people who have begun their online career as a graphics design artist simply by starting with a website or a blog!

I just got finished reading a post from someone who works from home but they are so discouraged with it because they are not making enough money. I work from home and so do many others who work legitimately from home and they are not doing things like paid surveys and the like!

The Law Of Attraction!

I have been doing some recent postings on the law of attraction. Simply stated the law of attraction says that what you focus on you will manifest and get.

I had posted that I really thought that the law of attraction was the reason that I got my cat! Unfortunately my previous cat died a few years ago and I have been wanting to get another one but I didn't. But I still had reminders of my cat around the house. Mostly it was because of my cat's toys that were still lying about. I still had my cat's food and water dish still around and just refused to part with them because I wanted them to stay when I got another cat.

I was always meaning to get another cat but I guessed that the law of attraction thought that I was taking too long and provided me with the opportunity to get another cat and that opportunity came up! A neighbor of mine's cat had kittens and he offered me one and I took him up on his offer! And that is my law of attraction story concerning my cat! So it really does look like the law of attraction really works!

I also try to apply the law of attraction to my financial life as well! If I think about being wealthy, focus my energy and vibrations on being wealthy then I should be able to manifest wealth!

I really can cite some instances where the law of attraction has worked for me financially. For instance you just never know where money (or clients for that matter) will come from! I have gotten clients that have quite literally come out of the blue! I have manifested money from sources that I didn't even know that I had or from sources that came out of nowhere!

I definitely know that the law of attraction has helped me in my business and my life and I really think that it would benefit you if you started to learn more about the law of attraction!

It could quite literally change your business and your life!

A Quick Blogging Tip

I visit a lot of blogs in a week. I am always searching for blogs to follow and to read. There are many great blogs out there on the Internet. One thing that I have noticed with some new bloggers tho is that they use more banners then they do words. It is one thing if you put banners on the sidebar but I would try not to make a bunch of blog posts that are made up of just banners. I am not trying to be mean, just helpful. If you post a banner in your blog post, try to write about the company and add the banner to the information you wrote about the company. I also recommend that you use a separate blog post for each of the companies. An example of how I recommend writing the post is here: this is a post I did with a banner. People sometimes get turned away from your site if it is all banners. People also like to see your opinion or view on the company that you are discussing.

You Have to Have a Plan

When you work from home, you can get very distracted. I recommend sometimes stepping away from the computer and taking some quiet time to do some thinking. I brainstorm at least once a week and it helps keep me on task, otherwise I do not get done things that I like to get done. How I do it is on laundry day, I bring a notepad and a pen down into the basement with me. I hang out there while the laundry is in the machine. I think about any articles I want to write and I write it down with details so I remember the important things to add. I write down the title, why I am writing the article and what details I would like my readers to learn when reading the article.

I have also done this with my Wela business plans. I think about how many people I would like to help build their business and how I am going to achieve this. Details about how I will manage my blog that was designed to help the team get written down in part of the business plan. Any plans I need to accomplish my goals get written down while I am brainstorming.

It is very important to take the time out to think in a quiet, non distracting place, away from the computer. You will be able to clearly see what you may have been missing before (too many distractions online) and then you will be able to push forward and start your path to success. Try to brainstorm at least once a week and write down the weeks goals and then the plans that will accomplish this. You will see a big difference!

Big Business Blogging, The Right Way #IntelSMP

At Intel’s first Social Media Conference in Portland this week, 100+ Intel social media practitioners from all over the world came together with about 20 industry subject matter experts to share and engage social media best practices.

One of those speakers was Lionel Menchaca, the Chief Blogger at Dell and a real pioneer in the world of blogging and social media for the enterprise. Lionel told the story of Dell’s initial blogging efforts that turned the tide of Dell Hell as well as other practical insights. Here are his tips on best practices blogging for the enterprise:

1. Write about topics that matter to your customers, especially the tough ones. Dell has a social media command center to track topics and inspire ideas, issues to deal with.

2. Provide context for a range of customers. Be thoughtful about the interests for specific segments of customers. Find a balance that allows you to appeal content to a range of customers. To do that effectively, you must listen online and understand the convergence of issues that you can address with content though the blog.

3. Write to educate and serve. If you’re doing your job correctly you’re doing both. Informing customers about more than products, including industry news and trends as it relates to your customer’s perspective builds trust and makes your corporate blog a source of information that’s meaningful towards what customers care about.

4. Be authentic, be human. If you can look back and see what established a blogger as a personality that audiences engage with, that’s what’s important. Write from a personal perspective, not from a “brand messaging” perspective.

5. Let your passion and personality show through. There will be points that the brand wants to make, but it’s important that the blogger’s personality show through. When tapping Subject Matter Experts for contributed blog posts, coach them on writing from a personal perspective vs. just providing the facts. [This reminds me of the Facts Tell, Stories Tell adage]

6. Provide an inside look. Content should complement, but also offer a different view than corporate website content, press releases, and other brand communications. Examples: Video interviews with internal subject matter experts about product features and what they personally like about them.

7. Don’t be afraid to disagree, if you can back it up. Dell uses Radian6 as a listening tool to monitor for discussions. Techmeme is also a useful site for tracking stories that drive discussion in the tech space. Show that you’re there to be part of the conversation when you find dissent, vs. trying to steamroll it.

While blogging within businesses has been around for a very long time, I think a it’s important for companies to take a second look at how their communicating through blogging platforms. Far too many business blogs are lacking in reach, readership and engagement because of approaching business blogging solely as a distribution channel vs. a platform for engagement. Are Negative Thoughts Making You Fail?

When you go through your day, what are you thinking? I know this sounds like a weird question but you really need to answer this for yourself. You talk to yourself (maybe not out loud but thinking is talking with yourself) more then you talk to anybody else in a day. It is important how you talk with yourself.

Think about your thoughts during the day. Are they negative thoughts? Negative thoughts can be very destructive to your life. I know it doesn't seem like it would matter but it really does. Think about it for a minute. On the days that you had more negative thoughts, how were the results of various things in your life then? I am sure the results were negative. Negative thoughts lead to negative results.

Your thoughts have a bigger affect on your results then anybody or anything else that you come into contact with. Thoughts set up your attitude towards things you are doing. If you think you will not succeed, you will be setting yourself up to fail. You will not be motivated to do your best and you will not believe in yourself.

Now let's turn that around. Think about positive thoughts. If you think successful thoughts and think about things you can do, you will be in a positive mood. You will then be motivated to push yourself to succeed. This goes for anything in life, not just business. Try it out, I am sure you will see the difference!

Working from Home: How to Spot Motivation Has Hit the High Road

Although many people crave to be in the position of working from home, it's much harder to than people think, especially creating a good working environment that promotes motivation. Yes, you don't have the boss breathing down your neck, you can work at times that suit you and you can often go at your own pace if deadlines aren't looming. Unfortunately, though, there are times that the aforementioned pace is often more suited to a snail’s world than your own.

The key to picking up the pace is to be able to recognize when motivation is no longer your friend and that good old chum procrastination has settled in for the day. If you identify with any of the following points, then you know your next business meeting has got to be an appointment with Mr Motivator.

1. You find yourself gazing out the window and thinking weeding the garden is a good idea. You would normally rather poke your own eyes out with cocktail sticks than do the gardening, but today… hmmm… not a bad idea at all.

2. Once you take your eyes off the garden, they focus on the windows, which haven't been cleaned for months. Suddenly the process of window cleaning is appealing and you find yourself recreating the 'wax on', 'wax off' scenario from The Karate Kid. You get half way through doing the windows when you realize working would actually be more fun!

3. Once you're back at your desk you think typing would be much easier if you trimmed your finger nails. Then discover filing your nails has never been so interesting. You know it's really bad when you start working on your cuticles and get the polish out, too. It's much worse if you find yourself in that position and you're male.

4. Sitting poised and ready to work, you glance up/over at the bookcase and realize how absurdly untidy it is. It keeps calling your attention until you just have to get up and rearrange each and every shelf. It may take longer if you decide that some of the books were a lot more interesting than you remember. However, you score brownie points if one of the books actually ends up generating ideas, thus spurning you back to work.

5. Even though your job would be impossible without the internet, you decide that you have to set the parental controls to stop yourself blindly browsing. You especially hate the stumble button and flashy ads for IQ tests.

6. You might normally avoid Facebook like the plague, but when motivation is no longer your friend you find solace in your other 463 'friends'. Or rather stalk them; you don't actually ever write anything on Facebook because then you’d have to admit to yourself that you’re seriously avoiding work.

7. You can't seem to shake a tune you heard this morning so look it up on You Tube, and get caught there for 45 minutes searching for obscure songs that you haven't heard for years, or get tempted by the list to the right that has absolutely nothing to do with your original search.

8. After checking out funny videos on You Tube you decide that the ‘Surprised Kitty’ video is one of the funniest things you've seen all year. This results in an endless search for other silly animal vids and leads to half a day on I Can Has Cheezburger and Cats that Look Like Hitler.

9. The cats make you think of your mum, so you call her, even though you only spoke to her last week. If she doesn't answer the phone you write an email, only to realize-once you've finished – that she doesn't really 'get' email yet, so the whole process was a complete waste of time.

10. This compels you to start working again, but as soon as your fingers are over the keyboard – even though you've just whipped out a 500-word email in 10 minutes-you get writer's block… and you're not even a writer.

There is no overnight riches unless you are selling your own digital product, even then it will take a little time. Do a Google search on any potential company or product you are about to spend money on before you spend money. If you see a couple unsatisfied customers but many satisfied customers, you may have something good. If you see only satisfied customers, it may be too new (you can't please everybody and somebody will not be happy with it.) If you see way too many bad complaints then stay way away.

Check out your sponsor. When you choose to start an online business, there will be a sponsor. This is the person whose link took you to the opportunity. Your sponsor should be an important part of your business, maybe even the most important part so make sure you check them out. You can do a search for them and see if there are any complaints about the way they treat their business. You probably won't find much doing a search on the person's name so you will want to contact them and get to know the person. If you contact them and do not hear back from them within about 48 hours (on cases it may take longer if they are on vacation), then do not do business with them. Remember this is your money and future, even if you like the company and are eager to start your business you want help from upline. Make sure your sponsor is willing to help you. I am open to all questions from all of my associates, blog readers and business members. Not everybody is however. They should be committed to helping you.

Make sure the business can be successful. As a rule, I do not jump on pre-launches. Many companies do not make it out of pre-launch and if they do, they may not make it out of their first year. I prefer to work with a company that has been around long enough to prove to me that they will allow you to grow with them not go down with them.

Look for residual income. I prefer a company that you can build residual income with. It usually does involve a monthly fee but I would rather build up income more and more each month. If you have a one time fee, what is the business? You are probably just relying on new people to pay a one time fee and you get the commission. This will be a forever battle trying to make money each month. You would have to work hard to get new people every month, this can be difficult. When there is a monthly fee (as long as the company is legit), you will get recurring monthly payments. As you gain new members and customers, your monthly income continues to grow. Residual income is so much better!

Make sure the company is legit. If the company is legit, there will be a product or service that you are offering. It may not be legal if there is no product or service being paid for. They should have a business license and a headquarters that you can verify. There should be ways to get ahold of the company and you should be able to find where their headquarters is located. You should see ways to mail, email and call the company.

There are many things to learn about working at home but if you follow the information above, you should be able to make an informed decision when you pick a company to start a business with. It is very rewarding to work at home, you just need to make sure you are careful. Success can be yours, just make sure you pick the right business!
